MD Value Care is an organization of independent physician practices in Richmond, VA that believe, individually and collectively, we can achieve world class results in quality, patient experience, and cost-effectiveness . 

 

MD Value Care was awarded a three-year contract, beginning on January 1, 2014, to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program as an Accountable Care Organization (ACO).  An ACO is a group of physicians or other health care providers working together with Medicare to give Medicare beneficiaries high quality service and coordinated care.  The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rewards ACOs for lowered health care costs, meeting performance standards on quality of care, and taking a patient-centered approach.  For more information about the contract, please see the press release on the News page.   For more information about ACOs in general, please follow the link below to a list of FAQs on the CMS website.
